Thank you to those who wrote your U.S. Senators to sponsor Senate Joint Resolutions 26 and 33, which seek to block the sale of certain weapons to Israel that are being used to commit grave violations of human rights. These resolutions align directly with the core values of justice, human dignity, and respect for international law.

 

Fifteen Senators voted to support the resolutions, and we are grateful to Senators Durbin, Heinrich, Hirono, Kaine, Kim, Lujan, Markey, Merkley, Murphy, Schatz, Smith, Van Hollen, Warren, and Welch, and of course to Senator Sanders, who introduced the resolutions.
