Why A New Policy?

“More than an end of this war—an end to the beginnings of all wars” – this was the parting hope of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in his last message to the American people. A New Policy believes in the urgent need for a ceasefire in Gaza, but we also recognize that, absent a lasting and significant change in underlying American policies toward Israel and Palestine, there will be no lasting, peaceful, and just resolution.

A New Policy is a nondenominational, nonsectarian, nonpartisan American organization that educates members of Congress on related foreign policy, legislative, and regulatory matters, and lobbies government officials to urgently pursue long-overdue changes to American laws and policies to reflect American values, interests, and voter preferences, as well as comply with U.S. laws. A New Policy works in partnership with existing organizations across the political spectrum to develop an American constituency that furthers our shared goals and values.

Why A New Policy PAC?

A New Policy PAC supports candidates for federal office who seek to support a new U.S. policy toward the Middle East.  Through A New Policy PAC, donors show elected officials across the political spectrum who support a new U.S. Middle East Policy that we’ve got their backs, emboldening them to continue to stand for a new U.S. policy and encouraging others to the same.For elected officials and candidates to know that Americans who support a new U.S. policy are donating to them on the basis of their votes, statements and positions on that policy, we are most effective when we donate through A New Policy PAC.
